A door replacement and sidelights was needed for this
home. The mahogany replacement glass door adds richness to the
front of the owner's home. Since the home has no porch or overhang to
protect the entryway, multiple coats of an ultra violet marine finish was
applied to the exterior with a premium satin polyurethane on the interior. For ease in moving large furniture and appliances into the home the exterior replacement door with an opening sidelight was designed and incorporated into the design. This provided the owners with a opening of over 50" when needed. The exterior front entry door trim package includes a custom replacement entry door surround with side trims and a solid mahogany curved wood panel adding elegance to the home's entrance. The custom beveled glass front entry door and sidelight panels where designed to allow light into the home while maintaining privacy. Background glass was chosen with in medium textures that would obscure images inside of the home. The completed replacement glass and wood entry door, sidelights and surround fit the home beautifully. |
