A contemporary front door and sidelight replaced double doors in this contemporary home. A custom oversized 48" wide door and a 24" wide sidelight provided the look needed. The offset of the contemporary front door and sidelight gave the foyer an area for a table and provided a wider opening. The glass design was a combination of a design the wife liked and the husband liked incorporating elements of each.

Glass used in the entry door and sidelight panel was textured to ensure privacy but maximize the light. The red oak door and sidelight was stained to match existing trim in the home. The door knob was brass on the interior and chrome on the exterior of the entry door to match the light fixtures in each area.
